The following is a brief description of Cambridge Park of Solon, also known by some locals as Windy Hill, compliments of the Schuman Team, Solon residents for over 10 years.

 

Cambridge Park of Solon

Cambridge Park of Solon OH is a small subdivision located off Bainbridge Road, east of Liberty Road. Cambridge Park is near the eastern border of the city, located within a few miles of the Solon Recreation Center, Solon Community Park, and nearby shopping.

There are only 41 homes located in this fairly upscale development which consists of 3 streets, Windy Hill, Laura Lane, and Suzanne Lane. Homes in Cambridge Park were built mainly in the mid 1990's.

The distinguishing feature of this somewhat secluded Solon neighborhood is the semi-wooded 1 acre lots. For those looking for a newer home on land in Solon, Cambridge Park is a good option. The exteriors of homes here are mainly brick and vinyl with mature landscaping found throughout the development. While most homes are colonial in style, with all bedrooms on the second floor, there are a few custom built ranches for those wanting one floor living. 

Windy Hill Solon OH

 

Homes in Cambridge Park of Solon typically have 4 bedrooms and either a 2 or 3 car garage. They range in size between 3000-4000 sqare feet.  Most homes in this development have at least 2 1/2 baths and features such as a glamour master bath, complete with dual sinks and walk-in closets, 2 story foyer, kitchen opening into a great room, and vaulted ceilings. The floor plans are fairly open and modern, and many of the homes located here have a room that can be used as an office. 

 

 

 

Home in Cambridge Estates Solon

 

Since Cambridge Park is a relatively small subdivision, there are not usually a lot of homes on the market at any given time. Because homes here are newer and on an acre of land, demand is typically pretty good.  The cost of a home in Cambridge Park is usually between $400,000-$500,000.  

There are sidewalks located throughout Cambridge Park as well, allowing for plenty of outdoor activity. 

 

 

Cambridge Park is a more affordable option than buying in a Solon luxury development such as Signature of Solon, Thornbury of Solon, and Chagrin Highlands.

Solon Ohio is consistantly rated as one of the top suburbs in Cleveland and was recently ranked one of the top places to live in the US by Money Magazine. Solon also has one of the top-rated school districts in the nation, making it a popular destination for those relocating to Solon from out of state.

THE PRESERVE OF SOLON OHIO

The Preserve of Solon is an upscale subdivision that offers great location, wonderful homes, and is located within a neighborhood setting.

Welcome to The Preserve in Solon Ohio

 

LOCATION

The Preserve of Solon is a large development located just south of Aurora Road ( Route 43 ) in the central part of Solon. There are two entrances located off Liberty Road and another entrance located off Pettibone Road. The Preserve is just minutes away from the highway and also located in close proximity to local attractions such as the Solon Community Center, Solon Center for The Arts, local shopping, and the highly rated Solon Schools.

 

 

 

HOUSING

Home on a cul-de-sac in The Preserve

There are approximately 222 single family homes located within the Preserve of Solon. Homes here were built between 1992-2003 and range in price from around $300,000-$500,000. They average approximately 3200 square feet with 3 or 4 baths. Homes are predominantly colonial in style with a mix of 2 and 3 car garages.  There were many different builders who constructed homes in The Preserve such as Jaymark Homes, Kenco Construction, Kimball Hill Homes, Kingdom Development Corp., Perl Builders, and Preferred Builders, which means that each home is unique in their own special way. While some homes have standard finishes, there are many that have numerous upgrades throughout such as top of the line appliances, and granite counter tops. Many homes in the Preserve have  a first floor office and full finished basement.

 

There are quite a few cul-de-sacs located within The Preserve, many offering large private back yards and picturesque landscaping. Streets located within The Preserve are: Mayapple Circle, Nighshade Lane, Sedge Circle, Silkwood Lane, Spatterdock Lane, Spicebush Lane, Teasel Court, Waterpepper Circle, Witchhazel Lane, and Woodduck Court. 

 

 

WHY PEOPLE LOVE THE PRESERVE

The Preserve of Solon is a friendly neighborhood for both families as well as empty-nesters. There are sidewalks located throughout the development, making it convenient for outdoor activities. People relocating to Solon find it to be very desirable because of the affordable housing, neighborhood feel and location. Local move-up buyers find it to be everything they are looking for in their next home. There is a minimal yearly homeowners association fee for all residences of $230 that mainly covers common areas. Overall, The Preserve is a nice upscale subdivision with much to offer.

Huntington Woods is a development in Solon, Ohio that offers an ideal location and upscale housing, all within the confines of a friendly neighborhood environment.

Huntington Woods is a very highly sought after development located in the heart of Solon. Huntington Woods has two entrances, one on Bainbridge Road and another off Liberty Road and consists of 72 homes. The development is within close proximity to the new state of the art Solon Recreation Center, The Solon Center for The Arts, Solon's top rated schools, and nearby shopping.

The development was built in 2 phases with homes being constructed between 1989 and 2000. There is a mix of home values within the development, but they generally range in price from $350,000-$500,000. It is a popular neighborhood because the homes are spacious, averaging about 3500 square feet ,and offer modern amenities, open floor plans, and great curb appeal. Most lots within Huntington Woods are about .4 acres. Many of the homes in the development have been upgraded to include granite counters, state of the art appliances, and high-end finishes.

The entire development was built by Dinallo and Wittrup Homes, custom home builders who are know throughout Solon for their high quality and customer satisfaction.

 

WHY PEOPLE LIKE HUNTINGTON WOODS

Huntington Woods offers good value and an extremely friendly close-knit neighborhood with a lot of kids as well as empty-nester. There are sidewalks throughout the development, which is ideal and safe for area walkers and joggers. People relocating to Solon find it very welcoming and local move-up buyers find the housing and neighborhood to be everything they are looking for in their next home. There is a minimal yearly homeowners association fee for all residences of $60 to cover an annual block party and common areas.
