Officially, Orange was ranked 421 on the list of 1500 top high schools in America.

The formula used by Newsweek to rank the schools was created by Jay Mathews. It consists of AP, International Baccalaureate and Cambridge courses taken by all students at a school and dividing by the total number of graduating seniors. 

The Orange school system is utilized by those living in Orange Village, Pepper Pike, and Moreland Hills, and is a great source of pride for the local community. People relocating to the area also find the Orange School system to be a big draw.
