Commentary - As was the case in many of the local area suburbs, sales were down in 2010 but the average sales price was higher compared to 2009. Lyndhurst is still deemed as a very desirable community, especially in the $100,000-$150,000 price range, as is indicated by the numbers above. There were also 3 luxury homes that sold in Lyndhurst last year, all in the exclusive high-rise Three Village condominium complex.
Moving forward, the numbers do indicate that the real estate market in Lyndhurst has stabalized and we expect numbers to be similar in 2011.
