Cleveland Area Luxury Home Marketing Group Created

THE SCHUMAN TEAM HELPS TO CREATE NEW LUXURY HOME MARKETING GROUP

In the late fall of 2007, The Schuman Team, Amy and Dan Schuman, and 11 other agents at Keller Williams Realty Greater Cleveland created a remarkable concept to help sellers of luxury homes in the Greater Cleveland marketplace.

This Luxury Home Division is the first of it's kind in the area and is the brain child of a handful of Keller Williams agents who individually cater to the needs of the Cleveland area luxury home market. While hiring a single agent or traditional "team" to sell a home is standard practice, this new group concept is sure to give a seller much greater exposure.

Having the power of 13 agents, each with a specific specialty in the area of luxury home marketing, such as photography, home staging, and pricing, will give a luxury home seller a greater chance of achieving success, which is critical in today's tough market. Additionally, each member has individually earned the finest reputation in the communities where they live and work. Together, the Luxury Home Consultants' combined specialties create a powerful force, working to benefit a home seller. 

Unlike the way a typical agent markets a home, the members of Keller Williams Greater Cleveland Luxury Home Division meet weekly to discuss the luxury home market and their specific listings to get insight and feedback from each other.

Some of the things we do together include:

  • Tour all the Greater Cleveland luxury homes so we are experts in inventory and pricing.
  • Preview a group members listing prior to it going on the market to give the seller vital feedback.
  • When a group member lists a luxury home the other members in the group tell all of their qualified clients about the listing.
  • Attend weekly meetings to keep updated on all luxury home market news.
  • Discuss successful strategies for selling luxury homes.
  • Partner with local area businesses to create "unique" marketing events at our listings.

Since homes in the upscale market are often bought and sold by word of mouth, having an entire Luxury Home Division is much more powerful than hiring just one agent.

Dan, What a novel idea and a great niche in which to work!  Good luck. I'm sure your blogging will pay off with this project.  BTW, have you had any trouble posting to your outisde blog? I posted something yesterday that did not make it there.

Thanks for the comments Barb. The luxury group is great and really gives the sellers a sense that their home is in the best of hands with 11 of us. We get to tour some pretty cool homes as well.

What a wonderful idea.  Do you split the commission 11 ways for everyone to benefit each time the group sells a home?  It is a wonderful concept!  My mind is abuz with all that you could do to promote the club as well as the home.

Thanks for commenting Evelyn. The listings are handled in a normal manner except that the luxury group members will advise as needed. We may preview prior to listing to give our pricing input, staging advice, etc....other agents in our office who get luxury listings but are not in the group are encouraged to allow us to assist them and compensation would be warranted in that case.
